board & Train

Beyond just obedience. For dogs ready for a mindset overhaul and owners ready to take the lead.

  • Our Board & Train program is designed to create clarity from day one. Your dog lives with us and trains daily in real-life environments, allowing us to build structure, confidence, and communication that holds up in everyday life.

    A core part of this program is balanced training, teaching dogs both “yes” and “no” in a way that’s clear and fair.

    • Clear understanding of “yes” and “no”

    • Calm leash manners and off-leash reliability

    • Impulse control and neutrality around people and dogs

    • How to make better choices without constant micromanagement

    • Commands: Down, Come, Heel, Place, and Out

  • $3,700

    For dogs without major behavioral concerns. We focus on foundational skills and common problem behaviors like leash pulling, jumping, barking, and impulse control, while building structure and reliable habits on and off leash.

  • Extended Board & Train (Minimum 4 Weeks)
    Starting at $4,700

    Recommended for dogs with more complex behavioral challenges, including:

    • Dog aggression or reactivity

    • Human aggression or reactivity

    • Resource guarding

    • Separation anxiety or significant crate issues

    A minimum of 4 weeks (28 days) is required. The additional time allows us to address a dog’s emotional response to triggers and build more reliable behavior. Program length depends on severity and how your dog progresses during training.

PUPPY FOUNDATIONS

Because good habits don’t happen by accident.

  • For puppies up to 6 months of age.

    Puppy Foundations lays the groundwork for everything that comes next so you’re building good habits from the start, not trying to undo them later.

    Each day includes hands-on training, guided socialization, and intentional exposure tailored to your puppy’s needs.

    • Calm neutrality around other dogs and people

    • Learning polite social cues from balanced adult dogs

    • Exposure to new environments, sounds, and surfaces

    • Understanding boundaries and self-regulation

    • Confidence building through guided experiences

    • Early leash skills

  • This program is ideal for puppies who need guidance, structure, and intentional socialization, and for owners who want to build good habits early.

    As puppies mature and have a solid foundation in place, they can graduate to our Board & Train program, where we introduce accountability at a distance and work toward real-world reliability.

  • Most owners are told that puppy classes are enough for socialization. While exposure is important, who your puppy learns from matters just as much.

    Puppies learn social skills by observing and interacting with other dogs. When those experiences are primarily with other puppies (who are also still learning), it can lead to rude behavior, poor boundaries, and confusion later on.

    Proper socialization means learning from calm, balanced adult dogs who can model appropriate behavior.

    Instead of overstimulation and overexcitment, we focus on intentional, guided social experiences that build confidence and clarity.

For owners who want peace of mind and consistency while they’re away.

  • Available to Pretty Good Boys graduates who have completed one of our training programs.

    Dogs who have completed e-collar training elsewhere may be eligible after an evaluation.

  • We intentionally keep capacity low to provide more personal care and maintain the structure your dog is used to at home. Space is limited.

  • A Typical Day for Your Dog:

    • Individual crate time for decompression and rest

    • Structured pack walk (40-60 minutes)

    • Supervised socialization and yard time

    • Treadmill work

Daycare

STRUCTURED

Not your free-for-all daycare. Designed to reinforce structure and good habits.

  • Available to Pretty Good Boys graduates and dogs enrolled in our Puppy Foundations program.

    Dogs must be comfortable in the crate to decompress between activities.

  • Daycare runs Monday through Friday, with morning or evening drop-off options available.

    • Hybrid or flexible work schedules

    • Dogs who benefit from ongoing structure and training

    • Owners who value consistency and want good habits supported outside the home
