About me
For the past six years, I’ve been helping owners navigate the ups and downs of life with their dogs. My own journey started with Dougie, my dog who came with more than a few challenges. Working through those struggles pushed me to dig deeper into how behavior, genetics, nutrition, and overall well-being all connect. I know the frustration of trying everything and still feeling stuck, because I’ve been there myself.
City life brings its own hurdles. Busy schedules, small spaces, and a flood of advice from every direction can make it hard to know what’s right for you and your dog. My goal is to help cut through that noise with clear, practical guidance that fits your lifestyle. Training isn’t about chasing perfection, its about progress.
I spent 15 years in Seattle, where I had the chance to learn under Rachel Mark of On The Mark Balanced Training. Since then, I’ve continued growing by shadowing other trainers and working with dogs of every type and temperament. Each experience has shaped how I train today and reinforced what truly works.
When I’m not working with client dogs, I’m usually out exploring with Dougie or buried in one of my “old lady” hobbies. Sewing, doodling, gardening, fixing things around the house - anything that allows me to create. And when I need to recharge, you’ll find in the mountains, because snowboarding and forest bathing have always been my reset button.
